Bibigo's Tteokbokki Carbonara Recipe
Ingredients
4 slices bacon, thinly sliced
1 package Bibigo Tteokbokki
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Pinch salt and pinch pepper
Garnish
Parsley
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Cook the thinly sliced bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat on each side until crispy. Place on a paper towel lined plate and set aside.
- Wash the rice cakes with water.
- Next, place the rice cake, sauce powder and 200ml of water in a pot or deep skillet and bring to a boil. Once it reaches a boil, turn down the heat and cook for an additional 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- Then add the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and bacon. Then mix and simmer for 3 minutes or until thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to finish. Garnish with chopped parsley and more freshly grated parmesan cheese.
