French Onion Mandu

Ingredients

3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
4-5 clove garlic, finely chopped
1½ cup beef broth
2 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
2 tsp kosher salt, more to taste
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper, more to taste
10-12 Bibigo Beef & Vegetable Mandu
¼ cup gouda cheese, shredded
Freshly chopped chives, parsley, or thyme

  1. Melt the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the onions to the melted butter and reduce heat to medium-low. Sauté the onions for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and begins to caramelize.

  2. Add garlic and continue to sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add thyme. Slowly whisk in beef broth, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes until sauce slightly thickens.

  3. Add Bibigo Beef & Vegetable Mandu to the sauce, evenly spaced. Simmer in the sauce for 8-10 minutes, flipping occasionally.

  4. Top with shredded cheese and broil for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.

  5. Garnish with chives, parsley, or thyme as desired and serve.
