Beef & Vegetable Mandu
with Go-Chu-Jang Cheese Fundito

Ingredients

1 tablespoon corn oil

10 beef and vegetable mandu

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup onion, finely diced

1 green bell pepper, seeded and finely diced

1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely diced

1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, grated

2 tablespoons Bibigo Go-Chu-Jang Hot & Sweet Sauce

1/4 cup scallions, chopped fine

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.

  2. In a large sauté pan, heat oil over medium heat. Arrange Mandu in a single layer and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for another two minutes. Remove Mandu from pan and reserve on a paper towel-lined plate to rest.

  3. In a large skillet, add the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook over medium heat until they are soft and golden brown, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the cooked Mandu to the bottom of the skillet. Top with the grated cheese. Add a dollop of the Go-Chu-Jang sauce to the center of the skillet over the cheese. Add the pepper and onion mix to the center of the skillet. Place the skillet in the oven and bake until the cheese melts, about 5-6 minutes.

  5. Remove and place scallions over the top and serve immediately. The cheese should be completely melted and stringy. If not, then return to the oven for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.
